My illustrations from the classic hit "I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas" that could be turned into a children's book. The design and color is inspired by vintage gift wrap from the 1950's.

Concepted in traditional 2D medium, final line and coloring in Photoshop.

Displayed at the 2019 Academy of Art Spring Show as outstanding student work.
